Capital Market Communications Limited (“Camarco”), the financial and corporate communications consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Owen Roberts as an Associate Partner, where he will focus on the oil and gas and mining sectors.  Owen becomes the tenth colleague in our resources team.

Owen has spent three years as a senior buy-side analyst in the specialist resource focussed hedge fund Abydos Capital Management LLP, where he oversaw the construction of the group’s portfolio.  He was responsible for the analysis of all its positions over all stages of the investment process including idea origination and bottom up valuation modelling.

Prior to that Owen spent two years at Canaccord Genuity Limited as an oil and gas sell-side analyst and equity salesman where he helped to build and maintain economic and financial models of the group’s coverage as well as writing research notes.

Since the announcement of its launch in April 2014, Camarco has grown strongly and now has over 65 retained clients. These include multinational and FTSE companies, spanning the financial services, energy and natural resources, industrial and support services, real estate and consumer sectors.
